Hi, question for the product team, I guess: is it possible to get more frequent updates to the sysobjectid database rather than having to wait for application updates?
I've got a lot of devices I've submitted to the 'Unknown Devices' thread whose monitoring functionality depends on them being correctly identified and/or distinguished between in NPM. The problem isn't actually so much with 'Unknown' devices as groups of devices that show up with the Vendor name as the Machine Type. For example, we have a large number of devices manufactured by APC (UPSs, PDUs, ATSs, NetBotz, etc.) that all show up as the same device type. This makes it impossible to create custom views for them and assign the correct UnDP graphs and gauges to a pge.
