Running NPM 9.5 SP4, all nodes in the DB return "<XXXX> is not the correct community string for <ip address>, or the device is not responding" when attempting to run "right-click" integrated commands/tools. For example, on a specific Cisco interface, right-click, "Enable/Disable Interface" ---> Asks for community string, I enter RW string, returns with stated error.
I have done the following:
(1) Deleted and re-discovered all nodes
(2) Repaired the NPM DB via the configuration wizard
(3) Tested the community string via NCM and through NPM Node Management - all tests successful
(4) removed and re-issued ALL snmp configuration commands on my switches
I have another NPM installation at another site and it is working fine (same configuration, same community strings)
I'm sure it is something simple, but I am at a loss. any assistance would be appreciated.
Thanks
