auto/batch install for Linux Agent

Our Linux server admin was indicating to me that it would be helpful to him if there were some method of pushing or automatically installing the NPM agent for Linux. We have many servers that need the agent installed. Anyone have any experience with this? By the way, I am not a Linux Admin, so I will have to forward suggestions onward.

With SecureCRT and enough tabs, I can see this being done pretty fast.

Thanks D09H, I do believe I did send that to our Linux Admin. I think it was in response to that, which caused him to wonder if there could be a faster way (less admin input) to do 500 computers.

Just an FYI, I am extremely wary of installing the trials into prod systems. I recently had to scrape all the old references to APM v 3.x from a client's db before we could install their new license for SAM 6.6 almost a decade later. Safer to run the demos completely self contained with their local sql express install so you can just toss them when you are done.

Also, to me the most scripting friendly method of deploying agents to Linux systems would be to follow this documentation:

Deploy agents on Linux-based computers through a repository

Walk through that once manually to see how it goes and then deploying a script to add the repo and start the service should not be a challenge for a linux admin.
