Hi all i have a Fortigate 200B firewall, and I had try to monitor the CPU and memory utilization but the MIB file i get can't let me monitor them. Can anyone let me know is that Solarwind support this ? Thanks
Yes it support.
MIB name : FortigateCPUusage
OID : 1.3.6.1.4.1.12356.101.4.4.2.1.2
Hi Kloby thanks for your answer, might i know how bout memory usage for fortigate?
thanks alot dude
Yes it support.MIB name : FortigateCPUusageOID : 1.3.6.1.4.1.12356.101.4.4.2.1.2
Has something changed with the MIB recently?
When I try and look that up the closest I get is "1.3.6.1.4.1.12356.101" which shows up as fnTrapSystem.
Please let me know what I am missing here as I have a FortiGate 200B and a FortiGate 612B that I need to monitor stuff for and I can't for the life of me find good OID's that it will respond to for things such as CPU and Memory using the SolarWinds MIB Browser.
As you can see its working on 200B.
I have a CPU/Mem UnDP uploaded in the content section. There are other UnDP's relating to Fortigate that can be found there as well.
The OID's I use are: 1.3.6.1.4.1.12356.1.8 and 1.3.6.1.4.1.12356.1.9
Unfortunately that doesn't seem to work on any of our Fortinets (200B or 612B), I get an "unsupported OID" response.
Thus far my experience with Fortinet and their usage of SNMP has not been very good as none of it seems to work as expected.
