SolarWinds Products on Linux

Any chance that SolarWinds products will be made available for Linux? The reason I ask is because of Microsoft's refusal to support SNMP v3. We are in a DoD environment, and SNMP v3 is an absolute must have. I have been asking MS, for years, when SNMP v3 would be included in Windows and I have never received a response. It looks like Linux is our only recourse.

Yea, I have looked into that as well. The last time I checked though, none of them were on the Army's approved software list, and it is a Bear to get something new added.

We have many Federal customers that are using Net-SNMP for Windows in order to use SNMP v3.

Interesting... I just went out to AKO and pulled the latest Army Approved Software list, and Net-SNMP is not on it. That means that Army orgs are not supposed to use it. According to this list, there are no approved products that give Windows SNMP v3 capabilities. You have to love it when you are told that you can only use "X", but there is not support for "X" in your environment, and no approved way to get support for "X".
