Custom property for Applications?

Using custom property editor or something similar is there a way to customize on certain applications running on a server.

We have a helpdesk that only want to see 2 applications running on only 2 servers,

I can easily allow them to only view the 2 nodes but how can I get it so that they will only be

able to view the services/applications that we need them to and not all of them?

You should be able to use the All Applications resource, click Edit, and then create a filter.  That filter would let you specify exactly which applications  the users would see.
