Report Writer - Selecting a specific time in a report

I have written a report that searching within the event log for "has stopped responding" messages. I am going to run this report at 5 or 6 AM Tuesday - Saturday. How can I do so, and only get result from the previous day between 5pm and 10pm at night? It looks like I can either only do relative time and get, for example, the previous 12 hours or write a very specific time like 8/15/2010 17:00 - 8/15/2010 22:00. There, I would have to go in an manually change the date every day and that is not an option.

You can do this using an advanced SQL report and using the dateadd function of sql with a little math

As an example the following would return a report with the node name and event timestamp of events with the message containg 'has stopped responding' between 5pm and 10pm yesterday:

SELECT Nodes.Caption AS NodeName,Events.EventTime AS Event_Time, Events.message as Message FROM Nodes INNER JOIN (Events INNER JOIN EventTypes Events_EventTypes ON (Events.EventType = Events_EventTypes.EventType)) ON (Nodes.NodeID = Events.NetworkNode) WHERE (EventTime BETWEEN (cast(convert(nvarchar(20),(dateadd(d,-1,GETDATE())),101) +' 17:00:00.000' as datetime)) AND (cast(convert(nvarchar(20),(dateadd(d,-1,GETDATE())),101) +' 22:00:00.000' as datetime))) AND ( (Events.Message like '%has stopped responding%') )
