NPM evaluation copy in an environment with a NPM Orion production server

EVAL server=NPM 9.5.5 plus SQL 2005 sharing the same physical server.

PRODUCTION=NPM 9.5.4 server & seperate SQL 2005 server.

When having an Orion NPM EVAL server in an environment along with an Orion NPM PRODUCTION server, is there any way to disassociate the production’s polling engine from the Orion EVAL system? So production nodes won’t show up in EVAL's Orion Overview view and also not allow Manage Nodes (which sees production nodes within EVAL). That is, if I delete a node in EVAL-Manage Nodes then it gets deleted in PRODUCTION-Manage Nodes. However, none of these production nodes are not found in EVAL's Orion System Manager interface - they are only found in EVAL's Manage Nodes view.

Correct me if i am wrong in interpreting this.

Are you saying that your Eval copy and your Production copy are sharing the same database ???

If that is the case than irrespective of any poller you choose for deleting/modifying a node the action is happening on the database.

You better use different database on both the copies.
