How can I get a report in the console to show a date value imported from Excel? I created a custom field to show a date which is imported along with other data from a .xls file. The date is in the Excel format (41841.9228). I cannot import these values if the Custom Property is set to a Date/Time format so I have to import as a string or float. I have not found a way to display these values as a date in my reports. They preview fine in Report Writer if I set "Field Formatting" Format to Date or Date/Time but when I save them and refresh the console there is an error and the report doesn't load. Any suggestions?
