Field - Total Memory
rhwimmers
I am using the field "total memory" and it is not reporting correctly... An example would be a router with the following output:
cisco 2620 (MPC860) processor (revision 0x600) with 45056K/4096K bytes of memory (which is 48MB total)
32K bytes of non-volatile configuration memory.
And
16384K bytes of processor board System flash (Read/Write) - 16mb
The output I get is 10MB???

Total memory on a Cisco device is retrieved from
OLD-CISCO-CHASSIS-MIB:processorRam (1.3.6.1.4.1.9.3.6.6)
You can use SolarWinds MIB Browser to look at this value directly on your router and see what it is reporting.
This MIB reports total memory available to the CPU.
