Error installing OMP for OpsManager 2007

Ahoy all!

I've been trying out NPM for several days now and so far it's working great. I'm now installing the SCOM piece of it and during installation, I get an error window stating "RestartService: couldn't find service HealthService" Did I miss something? I can' seem to find the manual for this Any help is appreciated!

Hi,

You have to install the Orion Management Pack for OpsManager 2007 on the SCOM server, not on the Orion NPM server if this is what you tried.

The Information Service installer is there for older version of Orion NPM which were not shipped with that service.

Oh I didn't know that, I feel like an idiot <GRIN>. I don't really manage nor touch majority, if not all of the servers we have here, except the one I manage for my network softwares

Do not worry, even if I knew it, I needed to re-read the manual attached with the archive to be sure that it has to be installed on the SCOM server... . Glad it's working now.
