Discovery not discovering devices

I know I'm just overlooking something...

I have several HP switches on one of our LANS, and sonar discovery is not finding them. Yet I can add the nodes manually.

The Sonar Discovery runs nightly and definitely includes the address range that this node is on. I've also set up a manual discovery that covers just the address range that the switches are in. I've checked the ignore list, I've checked SNMP community strings, I've searched for the device by name and IP Address and it's not there unless I add it manually.

Any suggestions of what to look for?

By the way, before I added the node manually, IPAM knew of the device and had a last response time of within the last few hours. Device was originally discovered, but for reasons I won't go in to, I deleted the nodes so that they would be rediscovered, and found that they wouldn't discover. This was several weeks ago.

I've done this with other switches in the past (all switches are HPs) with no problem.

Are you potentially already managing that same device, but on another IP in the system?
