SQL question
huweimail
I have a SQL questions.
For we can see 95% percentile data in the bottom line of the web portal image, but how can I get it from the MS SQL database?
I'm using Report writer and SQL to generate a Monthly traffic report, I need the 95% percentile data to show actually the interface data traffic flow.
Does somebody know how to use the SQL to get the 95% percentile data from the database?
thank you.

You must make a custom query in Report Writer to do this.
One thing to watch out for, is the interface collection interval changes, according to how long you keep the detailed stats, before rolling them into hourly stats & then daily stats.
Please see these posts for more details:

The 95th Percentile is calculated correctly in the Orion graphs, but must be "normalized" when using Report Writer.

Is it possible that you could share how to get started in going about this?

Potissimus,
Check this post, it should point you in the right direction:

(follow the link in this post to Don Yonce's post).
I have not created a 95th percentile report myself, perhaps someone else has - Rossw ?
I know others are using Crystal Reports to get the info they need.

Thanks for the link, Network_Guru.
Just from a quick glance, it looks as though the attempt may be a little out of my league, but I'll look deeper into it and try to get something going. Thanks again.
