FEATURE REQUEST: block solarwinds search results from appearing in google

Hello,

When I google for an orion related query, the results are typically filled with this kind of rubbish:

http://www.solarwinds.com/search/orion-child-group-nodes-still-alerting.aspx

http://www.solarwinds.com/search/orion-alerts-network-nodes-custom-properties.aspx

ie. a link to a page of search results on the solarwinds website, using terms similar to the ones I used in google.

This does nobody any good at all. if I wanted to use the search function in solarwinds.com, I would have gone there and used it.

Please stop doing this, it is poor form.

It would be easy enough to add Disallow: /search/ to the pre-existing robots.txt file

This is something that I'm also extremely frustrated by. I realise that SolarWinds has a fairly noticeable SEO programme, but it's always incredibly annoying to trawl through /search/ when I'm trying to find pages that actually contain useful info. I often give up, and/or limit my searches to site:thack.solarwinds.com to exclude /search, but solarwinds.com could still contain useful info that I could be missing.
