new customer with SAM only

Hi All,

I've arrived at my customer to set up their solarwinds deployment properly and they don't have NPM, they have SAM, two additional pollers, IVIM and DPA, they also have SQL express installed on their main poller. I am going to rebuild it all. My question is : I don't seem to be able to find a download for Solarwinds Orion on its own, so how do you install Orion and Solarwinds without installing NPM?

I've never seen a deployment of solarwinds setup this way before...

You don't need NPM just download SAM from the customer portal it will install Orion core , SAM web console and the Solarwinds DB.

Thankyou, I will do this and hopefully get them to put NPM in too, after we get rid of PRTG.
