AJAX

I have historically grouped my nodes by snmp location. Would someone tell me the difference between:

All Nodes - Tree (AJAX)

All Nodes - Tree

All Nodes - Tree (Non-AJAX)

Would someone be kind enough to tell me if one would work better (faster) than another when grouping by either snmp location or custom property?

Debbi,

All Nodes - Tree (AJAX) is your fastest option. It uses AJAX scripting to display nodes essentially on demand.

I have chosen the AJAX node list now, but despite checking the "Remember Expanded Groups" option, it does not. Does anyone else's work? -Debbi

I just tested this on mine with the AJAX and Remember Expanded Groups option. After Setting Grouping levels by custom properties it seems to be working correctly.

Edit correction if you mean after a refresh do the groups remain expanded... then no it's not working sorry I jumped the gun. When I changed it back to All Nodes - Tree and refresh it does remain expanded.

So I've noticed the AJAX is faster but as debbie said... as far as remaining expanded goes... it doesn't work as advertised.
