Config Wizard error after upgrade to v9

Question

Getting an error when trying to run the configuration wizard, the error is as follows..

"Error while executing script - Cannot alter column 'PollerID' because it is "'OWGUIDCOL'  Caution: Changing any part of an object name could break scripts and stored procedures. "

Any ideas?

We are getting an error while going through the config. wizard at this time while trying to upgrade to V 9. The error says that - "An error occurred coniguring Orion NPM Database: Login failed for user. The user is not associated with a trusted SQL server connection. Please check the config.wizard.log file for details."

Did you use the custom pollers in previous versions? If not, you can probably upgrade successfully if you just use SQL Management Studio to delete the CustomPollers and CustomPollerAssignments tables and let the 9.0 Configuration Wizard recreate them.

If you do have existing custom pollers that you need to preserve, I recommend you open a support ticket.
