SQL Error During Install

Installing Orion 8.5 for first time and receive error while creating a new database, "The SQL password is not valid". The database settings are the following:

SQL 2000 

Windows Authentication

New Database

Use Existing Account (domain\username)

I verified the password was correct and also verified that the account was dbowner. What else can I check to be sure I have everything correct?

 It looks like a permissions issue. Install as local admin and verify that you have SA rights to that DB to be able to create the DB tables-
