Suppressing polling of a certain MIB

Is there a way to configure NPM to not poll a specific MIB? I was performing an SNMP walk, and as soon as I hit ciscoBfdSessEntry, our switch crashed. I opened up a TAC case with Cisco. They said there is a bug in the current version of IOS XE, but the fix hasn't been released. In the meantime, they recommended we configure our NMS to not poll for this specific MIB.

NPM is not doing any SNMP walks. Is the switch crashing during normal operation of NPM?

The following will explain how to prevent access to a specific OID on a Cisco device. Securing Simple Network Management Protocol - Cisco Routinely walking a large portion of the MIB can have consequences. Using the above guide, you can create a view to exclude access to the OID that caused the problem. This will prevent you from rebooting your device and prevent others from doing the same thing.
