Any way to grep through syslog

I pointed some of my routers syslog to Orion NPM. But I don't seem to be able to do the equivalent of a grep which

is a common need in dealing with syslogs. I assumed Message Pattern would do the trick. But appears to be a no-go.

Is there a way to search through syslog via the NPM Syslog tool?

I see that if I go to the Orion Server and run the Syslog Viewer application that in fact "Message Pattern" does work to search through messages. However it does not work in the web interface to NPM. This looks like a bug. How do we report the bug?

In my Orion web interface for SYSLOG - if I use this in the field MESSAGE PATTERN then I get only those messages matching the pattern - does anything like this work for you with your own?
