Hi,
I am doing some sanity checks on many of our alerts, in 'advanced alert manager', and I would like to ask if the "do not trigger unless conditions met for X seconds/minutes/hours." is working as intended.
The issue I have is with the wording.
If I have the default poll cycle for UDNP (which follows node statistical polling - 9 min)
Then I would need to set the value to 19 to catch two consecutive polls.
This is not very intuitive, and creates the possibility to invalidate all my alerts if someone change the polling interval - specially with the upcoming version where undp poll timers is no longer locked to node statistics.
Is there any plans on changing the functionality so it is actual number of polls, taken from the respective poller? - Or at least clarify to the user thchanging poll times, can seriously alter your alerts.
Best regards,
