I set up Lotus Notes snmp agent on Domino (ver. 8.0.2) servers and it works well but sometimes particular OID gets "unsupported OID" status or shows nr 31002 in red. We use Lotus Notes as e-mail transport in the company and I have to calculate statistics of mails transferred (as nr of e-mails and KBytes). I set up relevant UDPs and need 3 OIDs:
OID 1.3.6.1.4.1.334.72.1.1.2 Time and date at which the statistics agent was last started. Represented as the number of seconds since midnight 1/1/70 GMT (UNIX epoch).
OID 1.3.6.1.4.1.334.72.1.1.3 Time and date of the last statistics update. Represented as the number of seconds since midnight 1/1/70 GMT (UNIX epoch).
OID 1.3.6.1.4.1.334.72.1.1.4.5 Number of messages router attempted to transfer.
I get all above on most servers but from tome to time on few servers 1.3.6.1.4.1.334.72.1.1.3 returns "unsupported OID" status or shows nr 31002 in red if I try to Refresh the row in MIB Browser. "unsupported OID" is typicall value in MIB Browser for OID which is not relevant to device I'm asking but the one I mentioned was returned ok and then stopped suddenly. And more ... there are not the same servers all the time. I mean server which responds properly right now may stop returning 1.3.6.1.4.1.334.72.1.1.3 next minute.
I suspect rather something on Domino but maybe the root cause is at Orion side or at least anybody have an idea why it happens?
