Some of my users getting "remote swis is not responding" error while searching nodes in Solarwinds.
It's only for certain users, don't know why.
Somebody help me on this.

Yes, users getting this error in web console while searching the nodes.
Okay, it looks like you get some results. Couple of questions, can you get to the Manage nodes Page? Are Are you missing results from specific APE's? (Check services on the Additional Pollers if this is the case).
Have you checked your logs, specifically : Orion.InformationService.log
And do you get the same error when trying to use the search? - is there a single search module from a specific page, or any search module from every page that it is present brings up this error?
I have the same issue, did you ever find a solution?
Check to see if the information service is running. If not, start it.
If it is running you may need a repair.

If the issue persists then you'll need to find more info in the logs for details that point to a root cause for the service failure.
