How do you create an event in NPM from the command line?

I apologize as I'm sure this has been asked before, but I can't find an answer anywhere. How do you create an event or trigger an alert from the command line? I'm looking for a easy way to integrate email generated events into Orion NPM. Thanks! Brett

There is no CLI support at this time for creating alerts, but it's a good idea, and I've opened a feature request for it.
