Wondering if it’s possible for Orion to produce graphs with a logarithmic scale for the Y axis.
Background:
We have a 10 G circuit running about 10 errors per second under normal circumstances.
We got the carrier involved to resolve the issue which included taking the circuit down for testing.
During the time the circuit was out of service the reported error rates was about 800 per second.
The issue was corrected and the circuit put back in service.
Looking at the interface errors graph covering both the time period before during and after the repair the only
thing that’s obvious is that we had a large number of errors when the circuit was down for repair.
It’s not possible to graphically compare the error rate before repair to the rate after the repair as the very large
number of errors during the repair masked the significantly smaller number of errors before and after the repair.
The raw data clearly shows the error rate before, during and after the repair.
