Does Serv-U contain code around the sections dealing with gethostbyname that would mitigate it's exposure to CVE-2015-0235?
Our best understanding at the moment is that this is OS issue and Serv-U itself is not vulnerable. However we are still investigating and double-checking, so will confirm soon.
Serv-U does use affected functions of glibc, but it is not directly responsible and as soon as you update you OS, you should be safe.
