folks,
I've been setting up advanced alerts and noticed that sometimes the "This SMTP Server requires Authentication" is cleared so emails don't get sent. I re-enable this and insert my user credentials. After a bit of time I open up the advanced alert again and low and behold it's cleared again.
What would be better if I could use an SMTP server located on the solarwinds box itself, could I use the SMTP server that comes with IIS?
