User account levels within Orion other than Admin.

Hello, eveyone. I am tring to figure out if there is a way to have a user account to have access other than Admin for some of the functions that are only avaliable via Admin level access. Is it possible to have multipule account levels like

view only / change level 1 / change level 2 / Admin

I presume you are talking about the Web interface, what functions specifically are you referring to regarding change levels?

View only is definitely possible if you go into the Admin option in the top toolbar and select account manager then pick which account you want to limit and select edit. You can add limitations in the next window and you can customise the toolbar menu from the "customise menu bars" option.

 

I know that in the Web GUI that most of the changes you make regarding account limitations are view limitations and only a small few are rights limitations.  The only ones I can think of is that you can hide things like the admin option in the menu bar (view limitation) but you can allow or disallow admin rights and/or customising of views. When logging on to the server where your system manager runs I am unaware of any user rights limitations that can be implemented. I know with Cirrus you can set up user account limitations using active directory for when users log into the server but Orion doesn’t have that facility.
