Weird NPM Services Issue

Its happened twice so far and that's all lthe NPM services stopping for no apparent reason, the first time it happened was around 1am in the morning and today its happened at 10.22am.

I've found these in the windows apps log just prior to the services shutting down.

Detection of product '{A5DE9DC0-84BF-431D-8BFC-CD0EC7C4DB25}', feature 'Orion.AllwayInstall' failed during request for component '{9F42179D-6B59-473B-B6F4-E6DABCFAA33C}'

Detection of product '{A5DE9DC0-84BF-431D-8BFC-CD0EC7C4DB25}', feature 'Orion.AllwayInstall', component '{2B80FF2A-2EB8-53C2-8427-F7206F294E58}' failed. The resource 'D:\Program Files (x86)\SolarWinds\Orion\makecert.exe' does not exist.

Any thoughts?

This time last week support asked me to do a repair of the Orion core and NPM and also check to make sure the cert file mentioned in the log was in the folder. The file was in the correct folder.

I haven't had the issue again since the repair so have asked support to close the call based on the fix being a repailr of either the Orion Core or NPM or both.

I have never seen that error. I would suggest opening a support ticket, and supplying diagnostics.

Chrystal is right, you should open a support case. Please reference this post and post back the resolution once you have one.
