Old Polling Engine in ContainerMemberSnapshots Table

Does anyone know the significance of having the old Polling engine listed in the ContainerMemberSnapshiots table MemberURI field? The below URL points to our old POC polling engine.

We originally had <insert large SolarWinds Consulting Company name here> set our system up with a previous engineer before I managed the system. The original POC went from Test/POC to Production. A new server was built for Production and I'm assuming the consultant restored the database to the new polling engine. But now I see old polling engine NetBios name is left behind in various places for the old POC server.

What is the significance of this stale Polling engine server name that gets re-populated/re-created after truncating this table? Where is it pulling the old server name to repopulate this recently truncated table?

Opened a ticket, and I guess its normal and non-affecting.

Orion SWIS URI System Identifier will always display the old host name from the very first orion server the product was installed on, and this should not be changed

• SwisUriSystemIdentifiernever updated is intended behavior. That identifier is created when the Orion database is created. It needs to be a stable identifier, even when machines are renamed.
• SwisUriSystemIdentifier should never be changed by anyone. No code is resetting it if it already exists.

  By changing it, you're risking serious system inconsistencies, like breaking the Dependencies, Containers, Alert Configurations, limitations and many other places which store the object identifiers in the database.
