THIN APS DO NOT SHOW ON CISCO WLC 5520

Added a Cisco 5520 controller to SolarWinds. However, I cannot see the list of APs associated to this WLC.

Orion Platoform 2017.3.5 SP5, NPM 12.2

Any suggestions on how to get this resolved?

Hi Larry,

I used the THWACK Community Poller

And assigned my Node to it in List Resources, after which I was able to get all the WLC details as well as the APs associated to it.

Asking the obvious first, and assuming this was already done:

SNMP is enable on the WLC?

Your NPM server is allowed SNMP access?

SNMP polling is used for this WLC?

When you listed the resources, you checked "wireless"?

I recently had a similar situation where no Thin APs were showing while in Atlas, but showed on the summary page. I also noticed on the "Current Cisco Buffer Misses" widget values were "-2". I deleted and re-added the wireless controller which corrected the issue.
