Bandwidth availability monitoring

I have several sites with multiple T1 lines each. The T1s will go out without us being notified. I need a way to monitor the available bandwidth at those sites so that I will get notice when the total is not what is expected. Any suggested tools for this. Currently I have to remote to each site and manually run a speedtest.

If you can enabled SNMP, you can monitor the ports within Orion NPM and setup bandwidth alerts to that if the percent utilization falls below a certain percent you are alerted.

Utilization is not the problem, I monitor that, it's the total bandwidth available. IE we have 3 T1s for 4.5 meg - the other day we attempted to test a video stream and found we only had 3 meg available as one of the T1s was down.

Did NPM show it as operationally down? Or was it something else?

No, the circuits are bound together so it was showing up, we just weren't getting the full bandwidth due to one of the physical lines being down.
