Has anyone discovered how to monitor virtual interfaces on Foundry routers? It appears in the "List Resources" option but it seems unable to track utilization.
Well I can't speak directly to your question since I don't have a Foundry router but if they are virtual interfaces do they have a Max interface speed? I know when I track virtual interfaces such as vpn they don't have a set max other than the total bandwidth of the interface so they don't display that. You may be able to go into the interface details once they are monitored and manually give them an max speed and that should give you a utilization.
Hmm, since it is a virtual interface that exists on every 10 gig port on the router, I'm not sure how to assign a maximum speed to it. I'll play around with it and let you know what happens.
Still nothing. I think I have to check with Foundry and see what the OID for this is.
