How to test Advanced Alerts?

I have Mib's on my dell servers now. I can setup an advanced alert on the fan speed being below a certain value. How can i test this? It does not apper as an option to select from the drop down menu.

Make the advanced alert happen, e.g Unplug the interface cable, and volia.

Pain in the ass though, there should be a test button
