Question regarding VSAN's

Ok, maybe I'm missing something here but I'm not showing anything on the VSAN view in my new 10.1 server. I have 4 Brocade Silkwork 200 switches defined and their detail pages show the Fiber Channel interfaces, the interface chart is populated , Connectivity Unit Status is populated, yet nothing on the VSAN page. No Nodes, no Fiber Channel Reports, No VSAN traffic. A search of the older posts stated that back in July the beta version of 10.1 did not yet support Brocade. Is that still true?

The other answer is correct. VSAN is specific to Cisco MDS. Brocade and McData call them Zones. Unfortunantly, Brocade does not expose the Zone data via SNMP. I spoke with their product team and from my understanding they don't have any plans to in the near future. I would recommend putting this request into you Brocade rep.

Profiler does gather zones, as it telnet/ssh into them and pulls it from there. See here under the SAN Groups for Brocade

I think you have to have the profiler product. I don't think Brocade will give that data up over SNMP, it needs to communicate it via CLI. In other words, you cannot do this with 10.1 out of the box.
