Session active for 8 years?

I am trying to edit some of my maps and when I try to delete objects I get this:

Since the date noted on this, the application has been updated multiple times, the server has been rebooted multiple times and there has even been a couple of OS upgrades on the server.  The clock is correct on the server (9/19/2017 2:49 PM).

Any ideas how to kill this lock?

Could this be a rare example of admin of having a real close attention to detail?  :-)
