I am unable to monitor RAM and CPU usage for any of my switches. I get utilization stats and a bunch of others but I really want to be able to set CPU and RAM statistics. Anyone know how I can do this?
What make/model of switches?
-> I assume this isn't a cisco or juniper switch?
What happens when you do a 'list resources' on a switch? does it offer the option of monitoring CPU and memory?
-> is 'CPU and memory something you can monitor?
What version of NPM?
-> 11.5 allows you to define custom pollers
They are Dell PowerConnect switches, no it does not offer the option to monitor CPU or RAM. I believe I'm using 11.5
