Error Creating Discovery Engine

I have Net Per Mon Ver 7 SLX - using SQL 2005 - running on a W2K Advance Server - I am trying to Open Discovery Database . . . When I hit this button I get a NetPerMon Discovery Window with the following message:

Error Creating Discovery Engine
Class Does not support automation or does not support expected interface

Reinstalling Orion over itself appears to work.

I am having the exact same problem after installing Eng. Edition v8 on top of Orion NPM, on Win 2k3 server, but I'm hesitant to do a full reinstall of NPM if I don't have to.
