Node status stuck in "unknown"

Question

We recently moved routing of a group of servers to a new firewall. Before making the change all the nodes were set to Unmanaged. Then set back to Manged when it was completed. Now all those nodes are stuck in unknown status.

I've tested SNMP and it passes through fine, so the new firewall is not blocking.

I tried all of the following:

* Changing the community string, then change it back.
* Unmanage, manage
* Rediscover
* Poll Now

I've confirmed the issue is neither the node or firewall by deleting a node, then recreating it with the same settings and it is showing Up and polling resources.

I really don't want to lose all the historical data on these nodes. Can anyone help me find a way to make the nodes poll again?

Well, we upgraded from NPM 10.1.3 to 10.3.1 and the nodes went back to normal.

If NPM isn't polling, but a ping on the box is, then I would have to figure there would be a potential polling issue, even though other devices are polling without problem.

I haven't tried restarting the Orion server or services. Though the issue is isolated to this group of nodes. We have a few hunded more that are still polling normally.
