MapMaker Local Install
benwillis
Is it possible to install MapMaker on my workstation as opposed to the server? It is a pain creating maps from within terminal services.
Thanks,
Ben

The good news is yes. The bad news is you will have to purchase the local admin package ($495) from SolarWinds. This handy little app gives you most of the management tools found on the server on your local workstation. However, the performance of the app as it talks to the database can be painfully slow if you don't have a higher end desktop.
You can purchase online at:

You can create maps remotely but you have to copy them to the NPM server before they will show up on the web site.
