Memory usage shown as 98% on Cisco ISR 4431

I tried to install the ASR9K poller and use it, but on a device with 4GB of DRAM I ran the following:

However, when applying the new poller, rediscovering, and polling all over again, I see the device reporting 22% memory usage.  To my knowledge, Cisco TAC said that the actual usage is the committed percent.

So my question is, does the ASR9K poller accurately reflect memory usage on an ISR 4431 platform? I'm running 15.5(3)S2.

Thanks for sharing this, but looks like this workaround is not working for Cisco ISR 4431.

I had to do something a bit interesting here.  Since the ASR9K poller showed the incorrect data, I ended up doing the following:

1. Took the Total value from the above output (highest value out of all of our ISR 4431's)

2. Used SNMP OID 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.109.1.1.1.1.27 (committed memory) as the used memory value in a new poller (it returns multiple rows, so I used the Sum function to add them all up to a single value)

3. Used the Total value from above and subtracted the committed memory (same as #2) to find the free memory

4. Used the standard SNMP OID 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.109.1.1.1.1.8 to find the CPU load over 5 minute average

This accurately reflects the actual value of our ISR 4431's almost to exactly what it is.  We went from 22% usage reported with the ASR9K poller to 44% usage with the custom one I created.
