Moving to a new machine

I know this question has been asked before, but I'm not sure the answer was complete. I need to move SW to a new PC (it's killing the one it's on). I know to move the config file, get a new key. But how do I transfer all my collected data from the old machine to the new machine?

Move the various database files and INI files associated with each of the programs to the same directories on the new machine.

Couldn't be any simpler than that, could it? A perfect example of looking for complications where none exist. Thanks!
