Orion upgrades messes up map icons

I have over a hundred customized maps.  I use a consistent set of icons for devices in all the maps.  However, with each Orion upgrade the map icons location or the like and map icons turn to large square boxes.  It takes allot of time, (days) to fix all the maps after upgrading. Upgrades are necessary as the features are desired but create excessive clean up work.

Below is an example of the maps after the last upgrade to v10. Upgrades are necessary as the features are desired the side affect creates excessive work.

When will this issue be resolved?

Yea, i'm willing to bet you have custom icons.  you will want to follow the process linked above.  temp fix would be to copy your custom icons to your web servers and any machine you have atlas on, as they will not show up there either if not in DB (process above) or on local machine.

I don't think we have ever got this reported. Do you use the standard icons distributed with Network Atlas, or do you have your own? Did you follow the process of adding custom icons before the upgrade?

Also, try the following:

- check user rights for the system TEMP folder. The user under which identity the IIS process is running should have r/w access to this folder. You may also try to set the identity of the IIS worker process to Local System to verify it is really user-rights related.
