I have added a 4507 into the system so I can monitor a few ports. I have a problem though.... It recognizes the SNMP and validates it. But only some of the data is correct that it is collecting. I noticed on the main view it lists the average response time and packet loss. But if you scroll for buffer misses and stuff the data is false.
Huge Buffer Misses
Then right when the node was added you could see the bandwidth when you hover over the interface in question.
Now when you hover over gig 3/7 say it just slits oper status : up
admin status up
interface type ethernet..... But it's not showing any of the actual stats for the ports..... I have adding it and deleting it but that didn't change... IT looked correct right when I added it in there, but quickly changed. I added it onto my Cacti box to confirm it works and it polls the interface stats using Cacti.
Any chance you can post a screenshot of what you are seeing?
I can. It gave out too much information though, so I will have to go back and photoshop out a bunch of stuff before I can post it on here. Tried to edit out as much as I could but then I realized IMO it gave out too much still. at least on a forum.
Another thing to try is using a MIB browser see if you can walk the IF MIB since it sounds like interfaces are not getting populated. If you have our Toolset, you can use that
