NPM 10.1.2 SP1 Still Seeing FireFox 4 as a Mobile Browser

This morning I upgraded all of my Orion systems (Primary, Additional Poller, Additional Web) to NPM 10.1.2 SP1 and APM 4.0.2 SP2; however, it still sees FireFox 4 as a mobile browser.

According to he release notes this was supposed to be resolved. Is that not the case or is there something specific I need to do for this to be resolved?

The replacement web_browsers_patch.xml file that SolarWind support (Sean Martinez) provided me resolve the problem on the additional web server. Thanks Sean!

Here is a copy of the release notes from NPM 10.1.2 SP1, please see the line highlighted in bold that suggests it fixes a problem that I am still experiencing after applying this upgrade...

SolarWinds Orion Network Performance Monitor 10.1.2 - Service Pack 1

This service pack requires Orion Network Performance Monitor 10.1.2 (Orion NPM 10.1.2), and it should be installed on all Orion Network Performance Monitor servers, including any and all Additional Poller and Additional Website servers.

Note: Numbers contained within braces, as in {99999}, are provided for internal SolarWinds reference.

Orion NPM version 10.1.2 Service Pack 1 provides the following features:
- UnDP charts and Multiple UnDP charts now have a Select Chart Type menu intended for use with Counter universal device pollers. The Rate chart type displays "delta since last poll/time since last poll". The Standard chart type displays "delta since last poll". The chart type is not useful for Rate pollers or Raw value pollers.{52940,52482}
- UnDP pollers are now listed in alphabetical order in the Select UnDP list of the Multiple Universal Device Pollers Chart resource. {51804}

Orion NPM version 10.1.2 Service Pack 1 addresses the following issues:
- Orion NCM integration credentials are now correctly saved for users who are members of an Active Directory group with Orion NPM access. {37382}
- Virtualization charts now display the correct local time. {52614}
- Chart trend lines can once again be removed by anyone by clearing the Trend Line check box and clicking Refresh. {52753}
- Trap variables are now correctly displayed in alerts and no longer appear as ${XXX}. {53475}
- Export to PDF functions now work on Orion servers running behind NAT routers or firewalls. {38876}
- Firefox 4.0 is no longer recognized incorrectly as a mobile browser. {39787}

To install this service pack:
- Run NPM-10.1.2-Update.exe.

The following files, using the default installation path <Volume>:\Program Files\Solarwinds\Orion\, are updated during the installation of this service pack:

We put the fix in there so it didn't show up as mobile cause we know users are going to try and use it even though we say it is not support yet

It is still technically not supported, I am looking into why it is still showing as mobile though.

Ah, that explains the inclusion of that fix even though it's not supported.

Have you been able to confirm that it still sees FireFox 4 as a Mobile device even after the upgrade?

Just use useragent switcher addons and configure user agent string for firefox 3.

That is a work around which isn't really what I am looking for.

My issue is that the patch notes indicate that this issue has been resolved yet after applying the patches I am still experiencing this issue.

After opening support ticket #242741 with SolarWinds I was provided a hot-fix file that should resolve the problem, I will note on this thread as soon as I have attempted that. The support tech suggested that this issue may not have been properly addressed in the patch for the Orion Additional Web.
