SNMP on Win2k3
namsa
When adding a node to Orion, I get the following error message:
xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx dows not respond to SNMP queries using "public"
This server is set up just like other 2003 servers.
Anyone have this problem before, or know the solution?
Thanks,
Ben

Check the server you're trying to poll, and ensure SNMP isn't being blocked.
Doesn't sound like an Orion problem.

Default security on Win2003 is to only allow localhost - you need to add the Orion server to the allowed servers list. (In win2003 Double click on the SNMP service in the Services)
