Advanced Alert Mgr - how to configure a region to only get their alerts?

Hi All,

Our Brazil region would like to only get alerts related to their region. We have copied our all inclusive alert and changed the trigger/reset conditions to only include the Brazil devices but it doesn't work. We can send test alerts all day long but no one gets the real Brazil alerts.

You shouldn't have to create a duplicate set of alerts unless the trigger conditions themselves are vastly different. See my suggestions on how you achieve this with the existing alerts in conjunction with custom properties.

Question about this:

See below an example for the PrimaryContact Node custom property - ${Node.PrimaryContact}"

What we want is for a certain group of admins to receive all worldwide alerts and the Brazil team to only receive Brazil alerts.

I'm confused on how this works in 1 alert.

The custom property can be global@abc.com for all nodes except Brazil ones. For the Brazil ones, it can global@abc.com,brazilteam@abc.com
