Is there more than one Discovery Central?

I don't want to be a noob, but if the noob fits....

I recently upgraded my license from 250 to 500. I want to perform a new discovery to pick up some nodes and interfaces I have not been able to monitor. I'm logged in as an administrator on my server trying to follow the administrators guide where it says

          "1. If the Network Sonar Wizard is not already open, click Start > All     

          Programs > SolarWinds Orion > Configuration and Auto-Discovery >

          Network Discovery."

When I select Network Discovery I get a 404 error. However, when I open the web interface (from any computer) and select Settings- Discovery Central I'm taken to Discovery Central. Is there a difference in the discovery I would perform using the web interface compared to performing discovery from the server? My original 250 nodes/interfaces are heavily customized with names, descriptions, locations, etc. How do I discover and add without losing my customization's?

The 404 error is pretty odd, but could relate to perhaps hostname or SSL config. Either way, that shortcut takes you to the same place. Discovery should not impact existing nodes as we will either ignore / dedupe on subsequent discoveries. You will also have a chance to verify what is being imported before any changes are made.
