Has anyone tried to install the Linux Agent on a Veritas NetBackup Appliance?

I have not yet either, just wondering if anyone had a good or bad experience with it before I try.

The netbackup appliance runs suse linux so is supported by solarwinds. I have deployed to suse and it works perfectly fine.

Interesting. Our Veritas NetBackup 5230 Appliance specifically states that it is RedHat 6.8

Fair enough, your ok there too, agents support redhat as well. They are both rpm based anyway. The agent uses .bin which is supported in most linux distros once the convert comand is run.
