Custom Universal Poller

Question

I created a custom Poller and it works fine for a Sensor devive (Sensor Hawk 2)  .  My only problem is that it only allows to web display the information on the Node Details page only, the others are greyed out.   I would like to display the chart on a diffrent web page. Why is it not letting me do this?

I'm not sure, but it sounds like you might be trying to display data for a specific node on a Summary page.  That doesn't work because you the resource relies on the view to tell it which node.  If you stick it on a Summary resource, it won't know which node to display.

Forgot to mention , the new universal poller is a table.  I do not know if this affects what I am trying to do.

Whe I created the Custom poller, The onle web site that was available was "Node "details" display. This was fine although there is a certain chart (history of the results every 15min)  that I would like to use from the node details to another web page.

I went to the Admin>manage View .  I selected Universal Device Poller Summary chart.  Under "Select a universal Device Poller " The New poller does not show.

The new universal poller  only shows under Admin>manage View  Universal Device Poller Summary Status.  This only displays the current result, I would like to view the history as a chart, as in Node Details.

Did I confuse you more?
